EXPERTISE

For the past seven years I have gained experience in design both in academic research and professional practice. My recent position at the Laboratory for Integrative design has allowed me to develop an expertise in digital fabrication, which had culminated in community workshops and public engagement.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

2017-Present           Teaching Assistant, University of Calgary

Responsibilities:

  • Prepared and recorded tutorial to aid student’s in their design

  • Prepared documents and grading student projects.

  • Lead discussions with students to encourage group learning

2016- Present          Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Integrative Design

Responsibilities:

  • Developing a user-friendly interface for community workshops

  • Preparing documents for client meetings/ project proposals

  • Creating renderings and diagrams for competitions throughout the city, as well as creating scale models for various projects.

2012 - 2014                Junior Architect, Northgrave Architecture Inc.

Responsibilities:

  • Corresponded with clients and set up client meetings with the architects

  • Administrative tasks such as prepared documents and ensured copies were made available to clients

  • Solved issues concerning construction drawings
